EXPECT GOD'S WISDOM
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. -James 1:5 NKJV
That part right there... He gives us His wisdom liberally! I don't know about you, but I need God's wisdom daily. I ask for His wisdom every morning in my time of prayer and I thank Him in advance for His wisdom - in my every choice and decision I have throughout the day... even into the night season. It is soley up to us to choose life in our every decision. My confession, "My every choice is life driven!". At this point in my life (prayerfully the same is for you) I do not have any time to waste making decisions that are not a part of God's 'perfect' will for my life.
In every day we have a series of choices that ultimately affect our overall destiny - from home, to our family, to our businesses. All of these areas involve other people. We never want to be at a place where our decisions are self driven. We need to ask ourselves how will this effect the lives of those around us? Is this choice only about myself or will it make life better for others. Not only how we will benefit but, how others will benefit.
God's wisdom is not only for our overall destiny choices that influence the life of others but, it is also for our practical day to day activity. Daily we should be at the right place, at the right time, with the right people. Our words should be chosen wisely - with this the words we speak to others and specifically ourselves will bring life and encouragement. God, by His Spirit - the Holy Spirit will lead us to make these right choices from the inside. I love it, He ministers to our hearts the right decisions. It is up to us to obey and act or say.
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. -Colossians 4:6 NKJV
I experience peace in my days because I trust that God's wisdom is leading me because I asked for it. Peace is the umpire - the final authority - that we have chosen life (God's perfect will, God's order, and God's way) in our choices. Expect God's wisdom. Choose God's wisdom. God's wisdom is found in His word and spoken softly in our hearts. God's wisdom is a spirit and by His Spirit, He will reveal and give His wisdom to us daily and liberally. Take time to hear Him. Wait and do not move before you hear Him clearly - no need to prove anything to anyone.
Do you want His 'perfect' will our your own will? Both you and I know where our own will has gotten us in time past or even up to this point in life.
