WORDS OF LIFE

WORDS OF LIFE.

Words of life created you. Words of life will keep you living.

You are beautiful and you are rare. You have been chosen by God and you are royal. You are a king in God’s kingdom. You are the head. You are the lender. You are blessed and you are a blessing. You are loved. You are protected. Your every need has already been met. You are wise. You are strong. You are bold and you have the victory in Christ. These words of life minister to your spirit whether male or female. These words of life encourage the true you – a spirit; with a soul, who lives in a body.

As born-again believers - it is imperative that we hear words of life constantly. Words of life created us, and words of life keep us living. It is up to us to tune out any voices, any words that do not build us up and keep us strong in faith. We have been given authority to rebuke what is not life and I mean rebuke it immediately in Jesus’ name. Only receive life. God has best and His best only for us. We do not have to settle for less.

God’s word from the very beginning was to create life.

So, God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them. ~Genesis 1:27 From the very beginning God used words of life to create and establish the heavens and the earth. From the beginning God used words to create and form us. His words of life made us in His image and in His likeness. We have been made just like God. As He continued to speak, life existed - God said and He saw. We are now equipped with His word, the Word of God, to continue doing exactly what our Father did – speak life into existence. We can speak life, and call heaven to earth, in any and every area of our lives that may not line up with the good God has promised.

His words created us… we have a choice to live by these words and encourage ourselves.

“It is the Spirit Who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” ~John 6:63

We clearly see a system that works, a system that has beautiful results. We see God’s way of doing things. We see God’s way of speaking what He desired and having exactly what He said.

At any time, we can come from a place of depression by saying what God’s word says… “His joy remains that our joy may be full.” We can choose to leave a place of oppression by speaking life to our thoughts and saying, “I tear down every stronghold from my mind in Jesus’ name… I am healed spirit, soul, mind, and body.” “I rebuke the spirit of oppression in Jesus’ name!” Now, after we boldly declare this, we must feed our minds with God’s word for continued divine health and freedom. Jesus simply told His disciples He was not coming to them with natural, mere mortal stuff, He spoke to them words of life that originated from heaven. We have these same words to live by, be at peace with, and live victoriously. God has given us a new vocabulary to keep us experiencing the Blessing. It is up to us to choose this new way of speaking and thinking or simply monitor our mouths until we get revelation. Why? Because, death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21).

As we meditate on God’s word, we will say what He said about us.

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~Joshua 1:8-9

Meditation on God’s word not only results in cultivated obedience, but it also renews our mind by bringing awareness of who we are in Him. Our identity is found in His word. Words of life to speak over ourselves and to others – is found in His word. Meditation on God’s word changes our vocabulary as mentioned, we have a new vocabulary. The more we feed on words of life, from God’s word we come to know our true identity in Christ. No matter what people say… what did God say? “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

When we get to the place that we remain built up by speaking words of life daily to ourselves and only receiving words of life from others… it is at this place that we move from the need for encouragement to a place of empowerment. We are now empowered to empower someone else. It is the Holy Spirit Who will help us move to this place of awareness and stay there – with His fire and His zeal. God’s word is alive in us on purpose – this is not in vain.

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

~Jude 20-21

We are empowered to empower. We should remain in the empowerment zone. TLW
